Hi guild!
The guild got a great amount of new officials for next year last week in the election meeting! However, there are still many positions to be filled in the post-election process with separate applications. To apply for these positions, please send an application following the instructions on the election forum to the head of the committee you wish to apply for by email (unless instructed otherwise). Role descriptions can be found here and the role-specific instructions below.
For the sake of transparency, we hope that all applicants will comment their names in this file. There are a lot of names left from the elections, so the file should be updated to represent the current situation. If you decide to not apply for a role that you've written your name next to, it's recommendable to delete your name from the file.
The selection criteria for all positions are (1) motivation for the position sought, (2) willingness to be involved in guild activities, (3) skills or experience required for the position, and (4) answers to any committee-specific questions. However, no significant previous knowledge or experience is required for any position – anyone can learn the skills needed for a new position – and there is no need to spend a large amount of time on the application.
The application period for the positions listed below opens on Tuesday 18.11. and closes on Friday 28.11. at 23.59.
Elderly Council

Songleader and songleader apprentices
Do you love the sound of your own voice? Are you interested in student songculture? Are academic table parties your thing?
Join Athene’s songleader committee! Songleading is a valuable and fun activity, where you get to develop your public speaking and creative muscles.
As a songleader apprentice you get to embark on the winding path of songleading, and get to try songleading, of course! The role is perfect for a growing freshman or an older student.
Songleading may seem daunting at first, yet any special previous experience or skills aren’t required. The most important thing is for the songleader to enjoy themselves, the audience’s enjoyment tends to follow suit. Being a bit anxious is a part of the gig, and only boosts the rush from getting to tell a donkey bridge.
Veteran songleaders are also very much welcome on the committee. We must get the apprentices into shape after all.

Camping committee
Even in a downpour, the day feels right,
for the camping committee rules the woodland night.
The Camping Committee is looking for new enthusiastic members to take the guild members into the woods again next year. Maybe you are a nature lover? Or maybe you've never slept outside at night, but you can hear the call of the forest whispering in your ears? Are you full of wild ideas for trips that you're dying to go on? Maybe you're a master trailblazer and want to show your claws in the most remote wilderness? Apply to join the camping committee and together we'll make 2026 an unforgettable hiking year!

Social media team
Are you always the first one to know about the hottest new Tiktok trends? Is your screen time alarmingly high and you’d like to make use of it? Do you have creative ideas and would like to turn those visions into content? Or are you just interested in seeing how running social media for a bigger audience feels like? If the answer to any of these is yes, you should definitely apply for the social media team!
On the social media team, the focus is on having fun while making content. The social media team is responsible for Athene’s traditional monthly recaps as well as creating content for Athene’s social media platforms (you can check them out at @athenekilta if you haven’t already). You don’t need any prior experience to apply for the social media team, the priority is that you have ideas and excitement for social media and creating content!

Culture Committee
Does your heart beat for culture, and you’d love to share this enthusiasm with others? Do you love museums, theater, literature, or some other creative activity? Do you already have an idea for an event you’d love to bring to life together with fellow culture lovers? Apply to join the culture committee!
In the committee, you’ll get to express your enthusiasm for culture through different kinds of events, group visits to performances, and monthly culture tips. The culture committee’s yearly program is always shaped by its members' interests, so you’ll have the freedom to brainstorm and organize whatever it is that inspires you.
Why? Because culture is best enjoyed together.
